As characters' personalities evolve, it gets harder to trample over them. The first few tramples actually get assimilated into the character... this is where Silth-Kaonthil #1's casual disregard for the needs of others comes from, believe it or not. Before that Inn story, Thingumy was the mean one. Weird, eh?
So anyway, the original plan for this comic was to have panel six be the punch line. This, I felt, would be in keeping with Silth's character. But then, I thought, wouldn't Silth have enough empathy to feel Other Silth-Kaonthil's pain? Then I thought, of course not, Other Silth was just about to brutally murder her.
But then I considered Elven culture... if having the same name and family mark is a reason for brutal murder, wouldn't finding out you have no real name or family mark be rather like watching Bill Gates drill a hole through your cute puppy?
Meanwhile, I continue to dodge having anything more than vaguely related to Battle Mage. This is for two reasons:
1.) I got carried away with the Two Silths plot, and 2.) Ross dared to badmouth serial experiments lain. But looked, I actually linked to the BM site! Now people will know what the fsck is going on!
